Who We Are

The Alabama Defense Advanced Manufacturing Community (ADAMC) consortium was created to promote visibility, awareness, and adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies; and enhances the development and education of the regional workforce that is critical to modernization of the DoD industrial base and related industries.

Over 105 workshops and events

ADAMC is hosting workshops, training events and tours to upskill incumbent workers, introduce pathways to career seekers and support industry in the adoption and expansion of advanced manufacturing technologies 

Over 70 Organizations are Collaboratively Supporting ADAMC Community Grant

Over 20 organizations have joined the consortium with an additional 50+ organizations participating in program initiatives.

Over 110 Companies Assisted Throughout the Region

Companies were assisted in advanced manufacturing technology deployment and training.

Over 1390 Workers Trained

Training over 30 workshops, including incumbent workforce training as well as dislocated workforce training and awareness for veterans.

Over 3380 Students Trained

Over 500 secondary and post-secondary students trained in 40+ workshops and programs.

Over 130 New Courses Developed

Over 20 new courses were developed in advanced manufacturing including IIOT, controls, robotics, etc.
